Our Vision Our Vision for Discipleship We are also committed to providing strong biblical and theological emphasis on Discipleship. It is the command of Jesus Christ to make disciples of all nations, but this begins in our nearest community, the local church. We envision a church that has mature members who are able to reproduce themselves by generating new disciples of Jesus. Our Vision for Ministry Our vision for ministry seeks to follow the biblical mandate to serve the Church of Jesus Christ in all of her areas, attending to the immediate and mediate needs of the Body of Christ. By equipping her members, we envision a Church that will grow strong and healthy, providing a balance between Word and Deed among the people of God. Our Vision for World Evangelization Our vision for world evangelization seeks to follow Jesus' Great Commandment and Great Commission. In our pursuit to fulfil the missionary call we understand that the Christian Mission is integral; that is, it requires both the proclamation of the Gospel (Evangelism) and the application of the Gospel (social responsibility). Therefore, CBTI aims to equip the Church through a holistic view of the Gospel of the Kingdom. We envision the Gospel being shared with all people in need both in our own community and to the ends of the Earth. |
