Course Descriptions - Schedule
COURSE 1: BI-101 - Old Testament Survey
This course covers the Old Testament in its significant areas of
study: formation, history and geography and the introduction of each
of its thirty-nine books.
(Josh Spoelstra, M.Div; Th.M. 3 credits)
Schedule: Monday-Tuesday, beginning on April 13 and ending
on May 18, from 6:30 to 9:30 PM. NOTE: There won't be any class on
May 11 and 12 due to the Finals Week at LCSC.
COURSE 2: BI-100 - Knowing Your Bible
This course is an introduction to the Bible in various aspects dealing
with topics such as: Authorship, inspiration, transmission of the text,
its divisions, different English versions, and so on. It is a key course
for those who are new in their faith, or even to those who want to learn
more about the Bible as a whole. Important geographical and historical
aspects will also be discussed. (Ehud Garcia, Ph.D. 2 credits).
Schedule: Saturday, 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM. The course will begin
on May 2 and end on May 30. (Meeting every Saturday in May). Dr. Garcia
is open to offer the same course on a different time, including Sunday
afternoon, to those who cannot make it on Saturday morning - In that
case, he will do it, if at least three people would register for the
Sunday afternoon time slot.

Registration Fee:
There is a $25.00 registration processing fee. It is not refundable
and not part of the total cost of the courses.
These are introductory courses and each has a special discount as
compared with the normal cost beginning in the Fall. Each course costs
$200.00 (only $20.00 per session). This is a little over 40% of the
normal price.
The student will purchase the syllabus and the required books.
